Adding a set of running boards to your ProMaster van is gonna give you a much easier step up and inside of your van. From the factory, these vans sit pretty high off the ground to where it's not very comfortable, even as tall as I am. That is a very, very high step. So adding these, it's gonna get one more step, a little bit closer to the ground, helping you get in and out of the van. more

Hi everyone. Aiden here with Etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Aries Ridge Step Running Boards on our 2023 Ram ProMaster 2500. Now on either side of the vehicle it's gonna look a little bit different. On the passenger side here the step is gonna span 96 inches in length, and on the driver's side it's only 36 inches because on the passenger side here we've got our large sliding door and this step is going to cover that whole section here to get up into your van or out of it. As well as giving you that step to get into the front of the van on both the driver and the passenger side. more

Westin R5 Modular Nerf Bars Installation - 2023 Ram 2500- Video
Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install these Westin R5 modular nerf bars on our 2023 Ram 2500. So, these are gonna give you a nice, wide step, five inches wide to be exact, to help get up into your truck. With them being five inches wide, they're definitely a lot wider than most other ones out there. So, if you're looking for something that's gonna give you a good footprint, easy to step onto even with some larger boots or shoes, this is gonna be a great way to do it. With these particular bars, they go wheel to wheel, so they extend a little bit back from the cab and give us an extra step pad right here. more

So these are what our nerf bars are gonna look like installed here. So a couple things to point out, number one, they are black but they're also available in silver as well. So the actual body of our nerf bars, that's actually gonna be made of metal, and it has a black powder coated finish, which is really gonna look really nice. Hey everyone, Shane here with etrailer.com. Today I have a 2021 Ram 2500, and I want to walk with you how to install the Westin Nerf Bars. Now, some of the biggest reasons why you would want Nerf bars, one they add a lot style to your vehicle. Two, on a bigger vehicle like this, again, this is a Ram 2500, the stock ride height without steps, I'm six foot tall, and it would be hard for me to get in and out of it. I'd have to throw one foot up and then pull myself up in order to get up into the seat. With running boards or Nerf bars, we don't have to worry about that. more

Now they actually do come in two different finishes. We have a black painted finish as well as the chrome finish, which is what you see here. So right away what I noticed about these Nerf bars there's definitely some other options on the market but these ones are pretty wide. They definitely give you a nice gripping step surface. Westin Sure-Grip Running Boards Installation - 2019 Ram 1500 Classic- Video

Today on your 2019 Ram 1500 Classic, we're going to be taking a look at, and show you how to install, Westin's Sure-Grip running boards.It has a nice, bright anodized aluminum that really accents the running board. And I just really like the shape, size, and fit because it just feels like a factory running board. I like the accents here with the moldings on the sides. It helps kind of just mold into the body of the vehicle.And on top, we've got a black rubberized mat. That's got a little cushion to it, and definitely seems like you're going to get good grip on it, it's got a textured type of surface on it. more

Today on our 2019 Ram 1500, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Westin R5 M-Series, Wheel-to-Wheel Nerf Bars. With trucks being higher and higher off the ground nowadays, these are going to be especially useful for people with mobility issues or even kids. And they're going to help keep your seat in better condition as well, because you won't have to kind of slide on the side of it just to put your feet onto the ground. Not only are the running boards going to give us a solid and safe place to step while we're getting in and out of the truck, they're also going to be there to allow us to do some things you wouldn't normally think about. Speaker 1: Today on our 2014 Ram 2500 we're gonna take a look at and show you how to install the Westin PRO TRAXX four inch Oval Nerf Bars, these are the black powder coated steel finish, part number is 21-23565.Now if you're looking for Nerf bars for your truck you probably have one of a couple needs. Either like what we have here, it's a pretty long step to get right up into the vehicle so this is gonna give us some assistance getting in and getting out or you just want to improve the looks and the quality of your truck.These are gonna fit the build really well for both purposes. Of course they're gonna give us a step and help us in and out, but they've got the full cab length design which is really gonna compliment a lot of vehicles. The quality black powder coat finish that's gonna completely encase our tube step is really gonna give it a nice touch, it's made to blend whether you've got a higher line truck or maybe just the basic trim package, the black's gonna compliment both of those very well.Now our step pads are gonna be four inches wide so as you can see they're gonna completely cover the four inch oval steps that we've got and you can see the traction that they've built in here. There are a lot of surfaces for your boots or shoes to grip on unlike some of the older styles of tube steps that they've created these are gonna give you the traction to get in and out without sliding or slipping on them.These are designed of a material that are gonna be UV resistant so we're not gonna have to worry about sun fade and they're gonna stand up to a lot of the elements or the things we're gonna encounter on the road whether it's gonna be salt, grease, oil, gas, things like that. We're not gonna have to worry about these deteriorating and coming in contact with that.Now the ends on our steps are gonna turn in towards the body, it gives them a good streamlined look, and something that I really appreciate is that the caps are completely enclosed. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Ram 3500, we're gonna take a look at and show you how to install the pilot automotive bully round nerf bars with a three-inch diameter, and the mirrored polished stainless steel. Part number is NB-1216X. Now heres what our tube steps are going to look like installed. As you can see they're going to give you a nice, full cab length kind of a fit. Now the main reason you're going to look at tube steps typically will be either to add a more stylish look to your truck, which with the mandrel bends there on each end we have that, or in this case our trucks keep getting kinda higher and higher, it's going to aid us in getting in and out of the vehicle.Now the mandrel bent corners are going to be nice and smooth, not really going to see any chipping or any scratching on those. They're going to run right into our mounts. more

Westin Oval Nerf Bars Installation - 2010 Ram 1500- Video
Today on our 2010 Ram 1500 Quad Cab, we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Westin Platinum Series Oval Nerf Bars. Part number 24-54310. The biggest benefit that these tube steps are going to bring your truck, is that it's going to make it easier to get in and out, because the step won't be quite as high. The best feature about these nerf bars is that it gives you wheel to wheel coverage. What's nice about the wheel to wheel coverage is that it gives you three steps. One for each door, and then one for easy access into the bed. The nerf bar is four inches wide, and on the surface of each foot pad here it's three inches wide. It's got a nice textured surface, along with the Westin logo up here. more

Today on this 2015 Ram 2500 Crew Cab, we're going to show you the Rampage Extreme Line running boards with the custom installation kit, part number RA16190-14615. All right. This is what the boards look like when they're installed on the driver's side of the truck. You notice it has a nice, wide step right here. It comes out to about 5-1/2" wide and the actual surface you can actually step on is about 4" wide. Today on our 2015 Ram 1500 we're going to do a review and install of the Dee Zee tube step running board, part number DZ372251. Getting in and out of your truck is nice and easy with the Sure-Grip step. Here's what our tube step will look like once installed. This is our 3"-wide round tube step. It also has the black plastic molded tread here for both the front and rear door. This will make it easier getting in and out of your pickup. Today on our 2015 Ram 2500 crew cab, we'll be installing the Westin Pro Traxx Oval Nerf Bars in polished stainless steel, part number 21-23560. As you can see here, your Westin Nerf Bars feature a nice, powder-coated bracket. The mounting locations for your nerf bars are already here in the rocker panels, so there's no drilling required. There's 3 brackets on each side and again, your mounting locations are already located here on the vehicle. You just have to insert a nutsert and then the hardware is provided with the kit that you'll need to install the nerf bars. The nerf bars feature a nice, oval shape which will give you more room to stand on opposed to a round bar and these have a nice, stainless steel finish on them. more

Today on our 2015 Ram 1500, we'll be installing the Westin Tube Steps, part number 24-54310. This is on our crew cab model. Here's what our tube step will look like once it's installed. As you can see, it's a oval design and extends all the way from wheel well to wheel well. It has a total of 3 foot pads, one for each door, and one for the rear extension for reaching into the front of your pickup bed. Not only do we have a nice chrome finish on our tube step, but we also have our 3 attachment brackets, which is a solid steel construction with a nice powder coated finish. more

Today on our 2012 Ram 1500 we're going to be installing the Carr Custom-Fit Side Steps. These are the Hoop II. The 7" studs may come as a pair. Part number is CARR105771. Here's what the step is going to look like once you get it installed on your vehicle. As you can see it complements the vehicle nicely, really nice smooth edge and an extremely grippy top section here so you're going to get really good traction when getting on and off. It's a nice light weight anodized aluminum, or a coated aluminum. more

DeeZee Round Nerf Bar Installation - 2014 Ram 1500- Video
Today on our 2014 Ram 1500 we'll be installing the Dee Zee Nerf Bar part number DZ372253. To begin our install, we'll first go to the passenger side on the inner rocker panel and locate our front attachment points. These are holes that are predrilled into the rocker panel and covered up with tape. We'll go ahead and remove the tape over the front two oval holes. Starting with the front oval hole, we'll install a 12 by 40 millimeter bolt plate securing it with a plastic retainer. The plastic retainer will help hold it in position while we install the bracket. Next we'll install the 12 millimeter by 35 millimeter bolt plate. more

Pilot Bully Nerf Bars Installation - 2014 Ram 1500- Video
All right, today on this 2014 RAM 1500, we're going to install part number NB-1215x. This is the Bully Nerf Bars, Polished Stainless Steel in 3-inch Diameter. To start off our install, we're going to have all parts laid out. It makes it a little easier to install our nerf bars. I'm going to start on the passenger's side on the front, and our brackets are labeleed, passenger front. We got our hardware together like the instructions will state. more

Bestop PowerBoard NX Motorized Running Boards Installation - 2014 Dodge Ram Pickup- Video
Today on our 2014 Dodge Ram pickup, we will be installing the Best Top Power Board, part number B7563815. Starting on the driver's side, locate the front attachment. Remove the tape that covers up the cut out hole in the lower rocker panel. Just below it will be 2 additional holes for attachment points. The rear attachment point will be just behind the rear door. We will remove the tape and below it will be the 2 additional attachment points. more
